Revelant Information: Palatal tooth patches distinctly triangular, their long axes at about 70° to curve of mouth.
Common Name: Thickspined catfish

Distribution: South and southeast Asia. India, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia and Indonesia. Type locality: Ganges River, India.
