Relevant Information: There are three species that are very similar. The species depicted here was collected alongside C.rabauti in the upper Ucayali in Peru and the other, also from Peru, is captured alongside C.zygatus and has been given the CorydorasWorld number of CW007. The other species is Corydoras eques from Brazil. Corydoras cf. eques has a dark band along the top half (on both sides) of the body which the true C.eques does not possess.
