I have bronze cory fry that are almost 3 weeks old now.. I feel quite satisfied that I've gotten them this far. This is my first successful batch...

My questions are:
1. How long do I need to continue with daily water changes?
2. Can they go on a more regular diet now (ie flake food)?
3. Why are some fish considerably larger than others?

My tip:
I had trouble feeding "First Bite" food (Extremely small pieces of fish food). The food would float and not sink. I found that taking a small pinch of it then lowering that into the water (Just below the surface) then rolling my fingers and releasing it, disperses the food perfectly in the water. This will also work for flake food.. The trick is to roll your fingers..

Much credit to Allan for his help in getting my fry this far..

Enjoy.

Hi Alan,

1. I would say a couple of weeks and then slowly take it back to once a week.
2. Yes no problem as C.aeneus fry are pretty hardy.
3. Its probably just like any member of the Animal kingdom, the stronger ones will get to the food first and grow strong, the weaker will always be that little bit smaller.
Allan.
