Hi All,

Noticed a couple more new fry this morning. They are very secretive when they are very young fry, but my few from the first spawning are out and about all the time.
Allan.

Nothing much doing here, other than putting new racking in. No Aspi's spawning yet, only Apisto's rolleyes.gif
My son asked "who was Elton John dad"?
I replied "He played keyboards son, for Marc Bolan"!

Like Apisto's though. Used to breed them a few years ago , cacautoides, nijssenni, aggazizi etc. Great to watch with the fry. smile.gif

cacautoides

These are spawning, I got a pair of wild ones at the BCA convention in Amersham recently, where coryman and myself were manning the CSG stand; apparently this strain does not have any caudal or dorsal markings.

BTW Congradulations again Allan, Hearts wink.gif

Things are starting to move a bit quicker now in the fish house, with C120, C139, C150, C. sp Gold laser, C. sp "Misiones" and C. weitzmani all producing. My biggest problem now is where to put them all.

I'm hoping in the next couple of months but I'm thinking that it will be the winter months before I can move my fish into the new fishhouse. I'm planing on a sink in my 12' x 8' in a 4'0" cut off section where I can work and also keep the cooler species away from the main room such as barabatus & paleatus etc.

I'm also planing to tile the floor as well so I think it will be a slow process Ian, but I'm wanting to get it right for my upcoming old age smile.gif
