I have several at home now.

Well, they are a bit territorial if not enough resting places is providing... some territorial behaviour is also observed during feeding time, but the are rather peaceful
A group is still a better idea than keeping them alone, they 'll get along well with other "non similar" fish...with other similar cat... the territorial behaviours show up a bit..but nothing bad...still I find them rather peaceful...

I have a group of what i believe are S. tourei ! consisting of two or three largish fish 4 inch , and a few subdominant fish , you do get a few little disputes mainly among the smaller ones , but no damage is ever apparent .
