Genuine 3 stage HMA CBR2 Heavy Metal removal filter.

CBR are the market leaders and are recognised as the the best Heavy Metal filters available.

This filter unit comprises three stages. In the first stage the water is passed through a 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter which removes sediment. The second stage is a 5 micron carbon block filter which removes chlorine and organic matter and lengthens the life of the CBR filter. The third stage is the 0.5 micron CBR2 multi media filter which removes Heavy Metals, Volatile Organic Chemicals, Gardia, Cryptosporidium, Chlorine and Chloramine. It will purify up to 8000 gallons of water before the cartridges need to be changed.

It has superior quality Pentek Slimline filter housings and comes ready to use with cartridges installed, complete with tubing and a tap connector for quick and easy connection to a garden tap or hose pipe fitting.

These filters will not alter ph or hardness and are ideal for producing pure water for blending with RO water for Discus fish keeping.

I will definately have to look into this as my water is not as good as a few years ago. They have put so many things in to make it friendly to humans but certainly not to our finned friends!!. I can smell the chlorine now when running the kitchen tap on certain days which did not happen in the past.
