In amongst some tanks I recently purchased, I found two of these fellows, perhaps someone could help ID what they are??

And a couple more here

The person I got them from said they were "Liauglanis maculatus" but that doesn't match with anything Google could tell me about! wink.gif

I've even looked through all the African cat pics, and nothing seems to match up exactly...

Thanks!

Hi There,

First of all welcome to the SC forums. Your cat looks like a Microsynodontis species, possibly M.batesii Have a look at
http://www.scotcat.c...e/m_batesii.htm for confirmation.

If you don't mind I would very much like to use your images for the Photo Gallery. If so you can let me know in a reply or you can PM me with your name for the credit. Cheers.
Allan.
