I have a 72gal heavily planted community tank with various residents including gouramis, tiger barbs, otos, corys, bn pleco, and a 5" syno. eupterus. I want to add 3-4 pictus, but am interested on anyone's experience or input regarding the compatibility of the pictus with a syno. There are currently no disruptions in the tank and I don't want to introduce any!

Hi There and welcome to the SC forums.

I would think that you would be all right with adding the pictus as they would be too active for the eupterus, who I would imagine will be the boss of the tank. As with any new additions you may have to monitor the situation but I am sure you will be fine.
Allan.
