I got this guy about 4 months ago when he was around 6cm. The fish shop said he was a Red Tail Cat which, even at that size, he clearly wasn't. Now he is around 22cm and, given the rate of growth, I'm getting nervous! The closest I could find was Brachyplatystoma spp, but I may be well off the mark. Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated!

Thanks Wayne - much appreciated, although not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping he was some innocuous little pimelodid that would get to 25cm max. Now he's going to outgrow his tank - and eat his tankmates - very quickly.
