went for a trip round the local fish stores last week on the lookout for some decent size cory's for a breeding project. at one of the stores i spotted a tank with half a dozen good sized fish labelled grean cory's.spot the dodgy spelling
i selected a pair which looked like a male and a female and paid £4.95 each for them which i thought was fair for such a well developed cory.got them back home and they have settled in well with there tankmates c aeneus, albino and brown bn,s and some livebearers. so now im offshore i went lookin for a true id and guess what?? there not bloody cory's at all but brochis splendens as in this factsheet. http://www.scotcat.c...s_splendens.htm so the moral of the story just cos he owns a fish shop doesnt mean hes got a clue what he's selling
