 Relevant Information:  The genus name has now been  classified to Hemiancistrus from Ancistomus  due  to  the  work  carried out by J.W. Armbruster 2004.
 Common Name:  L 141, L 215 ( L141 is identical to L 215)
 Synonyms:  Peckoltia snethlageae, Lasiancistrus snethlageae, Ancistrus snethlageae, Ancistomus  snethlageae.
