Relevant Information:  This could be a hybrid species. These catfish have been finding their way into the trade  through Russia   (Moscow) and it  has been stated that they have been imported from the  Congo area in Africa since  1997. This could be a  misdemeanour and that they are possibly  being bred through hormone  injections. The marbled/striped pattern changes as they  mature. The pattern is different to species 11  and species V1 but it could be the same fish.
