Parakysidae

This small Asian family of dwarf catfishes was once part of Akysidae
but is now placed in its own family with 5 species in one genera,
Parakysis. They posses a very long low adipose fin which
is hard to see on living specimens. They are not seen in the hobby
very often and would need good water movement in the aquarium as
they come from swift moving waters. |
