This species is imported more
often than the true R.
latirostris and
is found on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro so easier
to locate and export. This species prefers cool waters.
Aquarium Care: An easy species to
keep with no excessive demands on water parameters.
Diet: Omnivore. Vegetable food such
as cucumber and other various foods such as tablet,
flake and frozen.
