Relevant Information:

This specimen was a contaminant  in a shipment from Brazil to Pier Aquatics, Wigan, England  in March  2002 from the Rio Tiquié and is said to be a hybrid cross between C. virginiae and Corydoras "Mega-  Metae" C085 which come from this river, a tributary of the upper Rio Negro. There is also mooting's that this is either a variety of C138 or C016. Aquarium care: This is akin to most of this genus, very peaceful, and would be best housed with small to medium tank mates such as Tetras, Rasboras and Danios or in a species tank for breeding purposes. Diet: A good quality flake food and tablet food for adults with sporadic feedings of frozen or live food will keep your Corydoras in good health.
