Relevant Information:

Habitat: Freshwater; brackish; benthopelagic; amphidromous. Found in freshwaters and tidal rivers. Etymology: The specific name burmanicus: Burmese, referring to type locality at Salween, Burma (now Myanmar; also occurs in India and Bangladesh). Remarks: Still found on some online searches listed as Cochlefelis burmanicus.
