Relevant Information:

This undescribed and unusual coloured species is another member of the so called "aeneus group" and has been given the CorydorasWorld number of CW093. Placed in Lineage 7 which comprises all species from the "aeneus group". A revision and a description in the future would involve the resurrection of the genus Osteogaster (Cope 1871), with the designated type species: C. eques. Aquarium care: This is akin to most of this genus, very peaceful, and would be best housed with small to medium tank mates such as Tetras, Rasboras and Danios or in a species tank for breeding purposes. Diet: A good quality flake food and tablet food for adults with sporadic feedings of frozen or live food will keep your Corydoras in good health. Remarks: will probably do better in cooler water temperatures.
