This species is only one of two in this genera, the other being C. brachiatus (Cope, 1872). Aquarium Care: Quite rare in imports but should be treated the same as with any other large Dorad. Can be kept with other large or medium sized tankmates. Etymology: The specific name hasemani: Both generic and specific names are in honour of John D. Haseman, the American collector. |
