Sexual differences: Males that are mature have a broader head and a denser growth of hair-fine odontodes around the edge of the snout. Aquarium Care: Provide a good flow in the aquarium., but other than that this species is non problamatic. Diet: Vegatable foods and will also take flake and frozen foods. Etymology: The specific name orinoco: from the Orinoco River, Venezuela. Remarks: Stll found in some online searches as Pseudancistrus orinoco.
