Relevant Information:

The name is sometimes accepted in some quarters as Hemiloricaria melini. Aquarium Care: A black water species that requires soft, acidic water to spawn. Diet: Omnivore. Vegetable food such as cucumber and other various foods such as tablet, flake and frozen.
