Belongs in the same group as R. teffeana, R. formosa and R. melini. This group possesses a black caudal fin when sub-adult. Barcelos is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of Amazonas. Aquarium Care: Not an easy species to keep with excessive demands on good water quality. The water should be as soft and acidic as possible. Diet: Omnivore. Vegetable food such as cucumber and other various foods such as tablet, flake and frozen. |
