This specimen was supposed to be wild caught from Lake Tanganyika and labeled as Synodontis tanganyicae but the image contributor has not ruled out a possible hybrid species. Remarks: We have decided to label each alleged 'hybrid' or unknown Synodontis species with SC numbers (ScotCat numbers) to identify each species exclusive to the ScotCat website. |
