Relevant Information: This species was imported as a bi-catch with C. zygatus from Peru and is somewhat similar to Corydoras eques from Brazil and has been given the Corydoras World CW number of CW007. There are three species that are very alike, the two mentioned and another one Corydoras cf. eques which has been given the CW number of CW043, it is also from Peru and is collected along with C. rabauti from the upper Ucayali. Aquarium care: This is akin to most of this genus, very peaceful, and would be best housed with small to medium tank mates such as Tetras, Rasboras and Danios or in a species tank for breeding purposes. Diet: A good quality flake food and tablet food for adults with sporadic feedings of frozen or live food will keep your Corydoras in good health.
