Relevant Information:

To differentiate between Parotocinclus and Otocinclus is comparatively easy as the former has an adipose fin while the latter does not. Similar looking to Parotocinclus sp. "Recife" and they both could be one and the same species. Parotocinclus sp. "Pernambuco" is found alongside P. jumbo.
