Synodontis sp. (SC013)

Relevant Information:

Similar looking to S. decorus with the fine spotted head but has a spotted caudal fin instead of stripes and also lacks the extended dorsal fin. This could be a cross between S. decorus and S. nummifer but this is purely conjecture as a Lake Tanganyika species could also be in the mix, but decorus certainly looks like one of the partners. Similar to SC011 which has a lighter body colour. Remarks: We have decided to label each alleged 'hybrid' or unknown Synodontis species with SC numbers (ScotCat numbers) to identify each species exclusive to the ScotCat website.
